Here’s a tie he can wear again and again. This boys’ pencil striped tie is neutral in shades of vanilla, ivory and brown, making it a “wear anywhere” kind of tie. This tie is just like a men’s regular necktie, so it must be tied by the wearer. It measures 3-inches wide and 48-inches long, suiting most boys 8 to 13-years old (more on sizing below). Kids can be tough on ties, so we made this one from durable polyester. The fabric is a medium weight and mixes a textured background with smooth-finish stripes.

Sizing

When tied, the tip of a necktie should hit at about the belt line. Typically, this length of tie will fit most children ages 8 to 13-years old. Since kids vary in size, you might want to do a quick measurement to ensure this tie is the best fit. Measure the child from the collar to the belt line. The length measured should be roughly between 14.5 and 17-inches long. Need a different size? For shorter lengths, try a pre-tied boys’ tie. For longer lengths, consider a men’s tie.
