This necktie measures 3-inches wide and 48-inches long, so it fits like a “regular” tie for the age range. The material is durable (which is important for children) and a thicker weight. It has a slight sheen, but we don’t consider it to be particularly shiny or dull.
Sizing
When tied, the tip of a necktie should hit at about the belt line. Typically, this length of tie will fit most children ages 8 to 13-years old. Since kids vary in size, you might want to do a quick measurement to ensure this tie is the best fit. Measure the child from the collar to the belt line. The length measured should be roughly between 14.5 and 17-inches long. Need a different size? For shorter lengths, try a pre-tied boys’ tie. For longer lengths, consider a men’s tie.
