Let’s face it. Kids are messy. It’s a constant struggle to keep them clean of dirt, markers, jelly…you get the point. So try putting a tie on a kid. It’s a hanging napkin! We’re tired of doing laundry too, so it’s time for a better solution.

Introducing the children’s pre-stained tie! There’s no more telling little Mikey to keep his hands off his neckwear, because this tie arrives covered in colorful art stains. (Is it crayon, is it marker, is it paint? You be the judge!) Any fresh stains your kid adds (and we all know he will) only enhance the beauty of this tie.

Aside from the stains, this is a solid color tie in light yellow. It’s sized to fit most children 8 to 13-years old and is a self-tie style, so it must be tied by the wearer. The design is created via dye sublimation, not actual art supplies, which we explain in detail below. This is a lighter weight tie and, if you look close, there is some subtle texture to the material.

Disclaimer and Processing Time

This tie is designed, printed and dyed from our Mundelein, Illinois warehouse. The design is printed and permanently pressed directly onto a solid white necktie via dye sublimation. (This is not an embroidered or woven tie.) Color and placement of design may vary slightly from tie to tie. Because the ties are made to order, please allow up to three business days before shipment.

Sizing

When tied, the tip of a necktie should hit at about the belt line. Typically, this length of tie will fit most children ages 8 to 13-years old. Since kids vary in size, you might want to do a quick measurement to ensure this tie is the best fit. Measure the child from the collar to the belt line. The length measured should be roughly between 14.5 and 17-inches long. Need a different size? For shorter lengths, try a pre-tied boys’ tie. For longer lengths, consider a men’s tie.
